Release Notes — V4.0.6

Released August 01, 2024

We are excited to share the release of SeeYouDoc V4.0.6! This update focuses on enhancing the user experience by fixing critical bugs and introducing features that improve the functionality and usability of our platform. We have listened to your feedback and made significant improvements to ensure a smoother, more efficient experience for all our users. Here's a detailed look at what's new in this release:

🔨 Improvements

For Patients

1. Improved Clinic Display on Virtual Facility Page

The list of clinics on the virtual facility page is now displayed once per clinic, not per schedule, with added specialty tags based on the doctor's specialty. This improvement makes it easier for patients to find and select clinics based on their needs, enhancing the user experience by providing clear and concise information.

For Organization Users

2. Additional Health Facility Type - Organizations

Organization users can now select a new facility type called "organizations" can now be selected when creating a facility in the org portal. This addition allows for more accurate categorization of health facilities, catering to a broader range of organizational needs and improving the platform's versatility and usability.

🐞 Fixes

To enhance stability and performance, we've implemented the following fixes:

1. Internal Server Error When Ending Encounters for Reassigned Appointments

Users experienced an internal server error when a newly assigned doctor ended an encounter. This error has been resolved, ensuring that encounters can be concluded seamlessly without technical interruptions. This fix enhances the reliability of our platform, allowing doctors to complete their consultations without unexpected errors, thereby improving overall efficiency and user satisfaction.

2. Accurate Patient Count on Facility Dashboard

The number of patients displayed on the facility dashboard previously reflected the total number of patients across all facilities rather than the specific facility. This has been corrected, and the patient count now accurately reflects the number of patients specific to the current facility. Facility users can now rely on accurate patient data for better facility management and resource allocation, leading to improved operational efficiency.

3. Inaccurate User Credit Amounts

Discrepancies in the credit amounts reflected in some users were discovered. This was due to a technical oversight during the data migration process. We have corrected the credit amounts to ensure they accurately reflect the users' balances. Users can now trust that their financial data is accurate, enhancing their confidence in managing their transactions and reducing potential disputes.

4. Double Deduction on Video Call Tokens

There was an issue where video call credits were deducted twice for every encounter. Upon the doctor and the patient accepting the appointment, video call credits were deducted even if the status was still on "hold". When the doctor ended the encounter, another deduction occurred as the status changed to "done". This bug has been fixed, ensuring that video call credits are deducted only once per encounter. This fix prevents unnecessary loss of credits and improves the accuracy of credit management for both doctors and patients.

5. Multiple Schedules for Single Service

When setting up schedules for a clinic in SeeYouDoc, a single service could be assigned multiple schedules. This led to confusion during the booking process, as users saw multiple instances of the same service, each associated with a different schedule. This redundancy made it unclear which schedule to select and complicated the booking process. This issue has been resolved to ensure a more streamlined and user-friendly booking experience.

6. Video Call Counter Start Timing

Previously, the counter started even when the video call interface had not been properly loaded. This resulted in instances where the time ran out, and neither the doctor nor the patient could communicate, yet the tokens were still deducted from the organization account. This bug has been fixed, ensuring the counter only starts once the video call interface is fully loaded, preventing premature token deductions.

We believe these enhancements will significantly enhance your experience with SeeYouDoc. Thank you for your continued support and valuable feedback. We are committed to continuously improving our platform to meet your needs and expectations.
