# How Do I View Service Requests?

To view service requests issued by a doctor, an encounter between a patient and doctor must exist.

### Step 1

Go to the patient portal by clicking the four boxes icon on the upper right corner of the screen beside the profile icon.

### Step 2

Choose a profile which has a booked appointment.

|| Note: If you have not added additional profiles under your SeeYouDoc account, you will only be able to select your own profile.

### Step 3

Click **"Encounters"** from the sidebar.

### Step 4

Select the relevant encounter from the **list of encounters**.

### Step 5

Click the **"Medical"** tab.

### Step 6

Click **"Service Requests"**.

### Step 7

Once a doctor has issued a service request, you will be able to view them here.

Click on a **service request** to get a preview of the whole document.

### Step 8

This is what the service request looks like.

You may save this as a **PDF file, print it, or you may show it directly through your device**.
