# How do I refund my canceled appointment?

###### About Refunds in SeeYouDoc
* Refunds are processed instantly, but can take up to a few minutes depending on your bank. Refunds in SeeYouDoc are free from transaction fees and will be returned to your original payment method.

### Step 1
After logging in to your SeeYouDoc account, go to your `Patient Portal`.

### Step 2
If you have multiple profiles, select which profile you want to initiate a refund to. This is usually the patient of the canceled appointment.

### Step 3
Navigate to `Appointments`, then select a canceled appointment.

### Step 4
Click `Refund Payment`

### Step 5
Refunds in SeeYouDoc are free from transaction fees. We kindly ask that you provide more details regarding the reason for the refund.

### Step 6
An alert will pop-up on the upper right corner of the screen to indicate a successful refund attempt. The `Billing` tab will also indicate the status of the refund.
