# How do I manage inward referrals (MN Portal)?

### Step 1

If your network has receive a patient referral from a facility, you can expect to see it on the **Inward** tab under the **Referrals** section.

Go to your clinic portal, click **"Inward"**.

### Step 2

Choose any referrals from the list with an **"Active"** status.

### Step 3

You will be presented with 2 options:

**Void**
**Assign to facility**

Choose whichever applies to the patient referral.

You may void a patient referral if your network can't accommodate the patient.

**To void a patient triage:**

Click **"Void"**.

If you have already reviewed the details and can accommodate a patient inward referral, you may click **assign to facility**.

Enter **note**.

Click **"Save"**.

Upon clicking save, you will see **"You have successfully created the referral"** on the upper right corner of the screen.
