# How Do I Join the Video Consultation? — Patient App


### Step 1

From the Home Page, navigate to My Appointment.

Then, **select a booked appointment**.

NOTE: Booked appointments are those that have been reviewed and accepted by the medical provider.

### Step 2

Tap **"Start Encounter"**.

### Step 3

Tap **"Join waiting room"**.

### Step 4

Wait for the doctor to admit you into the call.

### Step 5

An alert will pop up once the doctor is ready to admit you into the call.

Tap **"Accept"** once you are ready to join the video call.

### Step 6

Consult with the doctor.
